hello people!

how are you guys?
i really hope all 6 of us can go out as a group after the exams.
super super long never see ducky and ah kiang alreadyyy.
for ah kiang, it's been 1 month plus since i met up with him.
well, and for ducky..AGES man.
loll.
now,the meeting ups for supper or dinner or whatever, are always sher,kuo,me.
if not, it's qian,kuo,me.lol
it's okay..everyone's busy.

alright.. SHUYI! im not sure if u have seen the pictures but yea, remember we were wondering if the guy who acted in hana kimi and hana dango dori was the same? ( my mum also thought the two are of them are acted by the same person!)

they look damn alike right?!
( and hana dango dori's movie is out in japan, heard its damn nice, man, i cant wait to finish the drama and then watch the movie!)

ANYWAY..( enough of boys..)
i'm freaking sick of singapore and i want to go out of singapore during the 2 months break that is coming real soon. if im not wrong, after kuo's A levels, we would still be having holidays. im not very sure la, but after considering where to go.. ( thought of going to... langkawi, bali, bangkok, beijing.. which are all not very realistic to do so so...)

lately, misunderstandings among our class.
it's all because of the class transfer issue.
but we understand.
we understand tt the head + lecturers have their
reasons to split our class into different stages.
am glad tt we talked things out w mrs mark the other day.
at least we knew the reasons behind it, now.
they aren't unreasonable ppl.
she gave us some hope by saying we could actually do some mutual swop,if any.
the number of students in these 2 classes ll still remain e same,though.

and this whole mutual swop thingy led us into anger +frustration.(at least for some of us)
i felt quite pek-cek liao,initially.
then i voiced out,saying tt i wanna stay in stage A.
so some ppl are trying to persuade my clique to come over to stage A
so tt some of their clique ppl could then go over to stage B.
their actions are selfish, sad to say.
actually, i wanted to join them in stage B, badly.
cos most of the fun is there.(the fun ppl,i mean.)
come to think of it, it ll be v selfish of me if i did tt.
so,now im in stage A la.
heck care all the fun there la,gan qing quite strained le.
it's only in this kind of situation, will we see ppl's true colours.

i dono if u guys know, but 3 out of the 5 missing person were ex-nyp dragonboater.
belonging to the legendary batch of the team who brought the sch team up.
seriously many of us are affected by it.
after all they were our seniors and as dragonboaters, we feel for them, we feel for the family.
many of us may not know them,
so do i.
but from what the seniors say, they were wonderful, dedicated rowers.

they row for passion, and die for their passion.
and national team have just lost 5 elites.
its really sad to hear/read newspaper everyday about them.

my deepest condolences.

hey guys,yeah, i just read about the news about the tragedy.

yes,it's sad..my condolences to whom it may concern.

a minute of silence and rememberance to the departed ones.

it's kinda hard to understand, but i guess life is like that. People were born,grow up, grow old and eventually leave the world. Sometimes it seems like we actually born to die.Haha..

Murphy's Law,whatever will happen,will happen/happens.

Life's just seems a bit unfair sometimes.But we do have the good memories to compensate for it. It's not really that bad actually,just depends on the way you look at it.

yep, it was so sad and hurting to learn about the dragonboat tragedy. One of the five dragonboat rowers, Reuben Kee, is my sister's friend somemore.Double sadness :(((((((
Life is so unpredictable.so we cant say much too,right? the searching of the rowers is still ongoing. good luck to all the search-and-rescue teams, though the chance is bleak...

hey ppl, i've found another mrs philip in sp man. those in sp ll know who im refering to:)

this post is actually dedicated to my beloved lecturer,Dr A.A.yuen.to qian and ah kiang,dont be shocked first k.haha.supposedly, we have an hour of cell bio tutorial session with her.however, it turned out to be a talk by her, for almost an hour. the first sentence she said to us when she stepped into MLT1 was, "i,ve finished marking ur cell bio test paper", followed by, "all ur marks are terrible!" sad. then she started her speech alrdy.first time a lecturer speaks to us in the dark.lol.no la, she spoke halfway then black out. so we listened to her in complete darkness for almost an hour.her words can really set us thinking..abt our attitude towards learning,our poor time management, our poor lack of knowledge,etc. i like her more n more alrdy.haha.cos she's just another philip,except that one teaches maths n the other teaches cell bio. one thing, she's very nice to us la. am not sure if she treats the other DBT n DBS classes the same way or only my class. whatever it is, she's our mother:) ll always rmb the motto of a top college you told us today--"JUST DO IT" yea..nike just do it.loll. she wants us to learn from that motto, and hopes that when we graduate from sp,we could proudly tell ourselves that "WE JUST DID IT!" thank you for that:))))

wa seh.after her so-called speech, one of my classmates cant take it and broke down. she's under alot of pressure i guess. and infront of our eyes, was a touching drama of a mother and her daughter. some of us, including me, were a lil affected. i had tears in my eyes, so do my other classmates. haa.it sounds very drama..i know. but it's true la.

i need help on my micro economics project!!!someone please help me! im in charge of the one concept from demand and supply!

ICA 2 Instructions

This is a group project and you will be in groups of 5 students organized by your tutor. Please use the resources at the International Business Research Centre (IBRC), at Block B level 3, especially for online research. Do not confine your research using Yahoo! Search. Approach the IBRC staff for help if you do not know how to use the online resources.

Marking

The ICA is 50 marks and will be converted to 20% of the module marks.

What to submit

You are to submit your report, which should not exceed 5 pages (Tms roman 12 font size, single-spaced), including diagrams and figures. The report should answer the questions below and will account for 30 marks.

The other 20 marks are awarded based on your presentation. You are to submit a copy of your presentation material. If it is a skit, submit the script. If it is video, submit a copy of the CD-Rom.

Questions

Your group will be allocated a market structure and answer the following questions:

General Guide

You should research the topic with empirical evidence to support your answers where possible. Please do not plagiarise from textbooks or websites.

1. Introduce your company and its product. You are required to use evidence to support your explanation for the market structure. This would include looking into the characteristics of the industry.

Please read ahead of the market structure lessons

2. Use 3 of the following economic concepts you learn to analyse and explain the behaviour of the firms in the industry / market.

One concept from demand and supply concept
One concept from either Price, Income and Cross elasticity
One concept from market structures.

3. Discuss 2 determinants of demand and/or supply for the product or service in the industry.

Students will be allocated one of the following market structures by drawing lots.

Cinema entertainment service providers
Childcare service providers
Taxi services
Singapore Public Utility Board
Souvenir retail shops
Singapore mass rapid transit service provider (North East Line only)

Presentation

The presentation could be in the form of a powerpoint presentation, multimedia presentation, video or skit. In other words, the creativity of your presentation will be rewarded. The duration of the presentation should not be more than 10 minutes. Every member is expected to participate in the presentation.

wah..i really dont know what to say man.
i`m gonna talk abt some incidents among me, my close friend and some other classmates.
first thing..we were quite close w some of the gals in my class.we lame here n there,laugh real loud,and almost spend the sch hours together.but what i did not expect was that right after the 2 weeks term break..everything changed you know.i just dont know how to put it lar..sickening!REALLY! the first day in sch when sch reopened, as usual, almost half the class(maybe more than that)would meet at dover control station b4 going to class.(united right! haha)but that very morning when i reached dover..tapped my card and saw em..i dont know y..i jus gt a very wierd feeling when i tried to say hello to some of my closer female friends.but the expressions they gave me were like..aiyo.WTH LAR.maybe sher n qian ll understand what im trying 2 say ba.waa then when it's break time, me,tt close fren of mine and those female frens were discussing whether to go library or eat.after tt duno y the hell they left w/o waiting for us.damn it! things weren't this simple,yet.b4 class starts,i talked to those gals,as usual.what they gave me was THAT KIND OF LOOK.i was like wth man! y suddenly things turned out like that right after the holidays.i mean..holiday so what?! if it's bcuz 2 wks neva chat le den relationship became strained.bullshit la! den what abt those gals.they also din hang out during e holiday wat.what on earth is happening man..im still figuring out!(FYI)today's the third day since sch starts.and today waas the worst man.i wan waiting for my close fren..os she wan settling some things w her boy.then after that she told me not to wait for her le.when i went to take e mrt.so suay to run into those gals.i waved to em.yet they just stared at me as i walked towards em.expecting them to smile de..who noes..tt look again.you c lar.if u were me,i bet you'd want to skin em alive!kns! went in the train.still hope tt got smth to say.but NTH! aiya..can't stand it le den i shifted to another cabin le.dun need they say,i noe what to do! i very auto de.waa really kns..i did nth den suddenly things became like tt.humans ah..can't understand em.trust no one.fakers.true friends are hard to find.indeed.(swk)2 still e best!

so how's life?all going well?
haha..i cant wait for next week..term break le..but boss wans me to help him work for a few days,coz he going for reservist..bleah.oh well,at least got $$..bwahahaha..
